Race Categories
Qualifying races for the IVF World Sprints Championships
Elite V1 Qualifiers (Top 3 will be selected)
Men V1 500m : J19/Open/40/50/60/70
Women V1 500m : J19/Open/40/50/60/70
Club Crew Qualifiers (Top 6 V6 and top 3 V12 per categories will be selected)
Men / Women V6 500m : J19/Open/40/50/60/70
Men / Women V12 500 : J19/Open/40/50/60/70
Open Men / Women V6 1500m : 250 x 6 (5 turns)
J19/40/50 V6 1000m : 250 x 4 (3 turns)
Non-qualifying races
Men/Women OC1 500m : J19/Open/40/50/60/70
Mixed OC2 500m : J19/Open/40/50/60/70
Mixed V6 500m : Master 50/60/70
Mixed V12 500m : Open/40/50/60/70
Note :
Dragon Boat teams are welcome to participate in the V12 categories
⚠️ Race progression
Depending on the number of participants in each category, the competition may include multiple rounds, with progression to semi-finals and finals.
Race programme
For both competition days, single craft races are scheduled in the morning from 7:30am to 1:00pm, followed by V6/V12 events from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
A detailed race schedule will be shared closer to the event date.
Entry fees
Registration fees are a flat rate per participant regardless you register for one or multiple races :
Single craft races : S$ 88 (to be paid at registration)
Crew categories : S$ 108 (to be managed by each club's team manager.

Once registration is completed on Webscorer, please contact us (vaa.association.singapore@gmail.com) to arrange payment.
Registrations will only be considered valid upon receipt of payment.
⚠️ Ocean Paddling Certification
To paddle in Kallang / Marina Bay, all participants must hold a valid Ocean Paddling Competency Star Award (minimum 1-star). The certification number will be required during registration.
If you do not yet have this certification, please contact your club’s team manager.
The certification fee is $20.
