We are proud to announce the official launch of the 2026 IVF Va‘a World Sprints Championships, set to take place in the heart of Singapore from 17 to 31 August 2026.
For the first time ever, the world’s premier outrigger canoe event will be held in Southeast Asia, with races unfolding against the iconic backdrop of Marina Bay.
To mark this milestone, the official event website has just been launched at www.worldsprints2026singapore.com.
This will serve as the central hub for all race participants, supporters, and visitors, offering key details and resources to help plan your trip and get race-ready.
On the site, visitors will find the full race calendar and the announcement of the two officially selected canoes for the event: Hydra Pro and 4Si by Ozone. Beyond the race, the website features a dynamic, custom map that highlights the best places to stay in Singapore, must-try hawker centres, cultural landmarks, and city highlights—offering athletes and spectators a unique chance to explore and enjoy the host city beyond the competition.
As we progress with event planning, more information will be published on the website to ensure a seamless experience for teams and visitors alike.
With preparations underway, Singapore is excited to welcome the global va‘a community for what promises to be a spectacular and unforgettable World Sprints.
Stay tuned for more updates—and we’ll see you at the start line in 2026!
